Vic: Disappointed students shouldn't give up hope: Kosky
Victorian Education Minister Lynne Kosky says students disappointed with their Victorian
Certificate of Education results shouldn't give up hope.
The 48,000 students who completed a full VCE began receiving their results electronically today.
Ms KOSKY says students who are worried about their Tertiary Entrance Rank scores should
consult their teachers because there's more than one way to achieve the career they want.
Results were released at 7am (AEDT) electronically, and by 9.30am today 39,000 students
downloaded their results from the internet, 8,500 students had received results by telephone
text message (SMS) and 5,200 by an automated phone service.
Results sent by mail will be delivered from tomorrow.
The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre says 6853 students have achieved a tertiary
entrance score of 90 or more.
